Junior Assembly Awards Week 5

As part of our Inquiry on Rubbish we brought recycled rubbish to school and re-used them.
Niamh and Rhylee came to school with fantastic plans on what to do with their rubbish.

ASB GetWise

This week we had a visit from the ASB bank.  We learnt what coins and notes were and we ordered them from least amount to most amount.
It was fun pretending to have 'superpowers'.  We also learnt the difference between NEEDS and WANTS.

Day One at the Boys and Girls Gym Club

Room 14 walked to the Boys and Girls Gym Club for their first time this week.

Welcome back to Term 4

Special welcome to.... Luke, Tyson, Jax and Te Hua tahi

The first two weeks back at school we are looking at FRACTIONS.  We are learning about halves and quarters or one-fourths.

Tyson and Te Hua tahi have helped solve some fraction problems in maths this week.

Writers to Celebrate this Week

Riley and Zayden are writing well.  Riley is recording lots of sounds in more complex words and Zayden knows some red words.
